This morning I collected some Hyssop that I grew. I will dry, bag and store it away for preparing our next batch of Hemp-EaZe. I sure love the lemony scent that fills the herb shed. Hyssop is one of the 9 essential healing herbs, in our Hemp-EaZe™ formula.

Therapeutic properties of hyssop; anti-rheumatic, astringent, antiseptic, antispasmodic, carminative, cicatrisant, febrifuge, hypertensive, nerving, vermifuge.

  • Hyssop gives relief for viral infections.
  • It helps to regulate circulation.
  • It has good healing properties and helps with bruises.

We use Hyssop in our Hemp-EaZe™ formula for skin conditions, like bruises and inflammation, eczema, and dermatitis.

Hyssop has been around a long time. It’s written about in the Bible as a cleanser and protector, and it was widely used by the ancients to clear away “evil spirits”. What the ancients referred to as “evil spirits”, today we call infectious bacteria, virus, fungi, and bad vibes. Hyssop will come to your aid when dealing with any of these.

Published in the Diet Health Club, they list these beneficial uses for Hyssop,

Astringent: The astringent properties in hyssop are good for treating wrinkles, sagging skin, loose muscles, and can even prevent hemorrhage by constricting the blood vessels.

Anti-rheumatic: It is good for blood circulation and can cure problems like swelling, gout, rheumatism, muscular spasms, and arthritis. However, if the pain or swelling persists, you could look for treatments options at https://www.heartlandpodiatry.com/g-conditions.

Anti-septic: With its anti-septic properties, hyssop is good for curing cuts and abrasions. Hyssop oil, some believe, can also prevent tetanus, in a wound caused by an iron object.

Cicatrisant: The oil extracted from hyssop can help to clear marks caused due to insect bites, infections, pox, and boils.

Febrifuge: During fever, toxins tend to get accumulated in the body. But hyssop can reduce the infections by flushing out the toxins.

High Blood Pressure: Since hyssop increases the blood circulation, it can lower high blood pressure, and relax the entire body. You can learn more about managing high blood pressure (hypertension) by taking a look at this carvedilol davis drug guide that also addresses the use of cannabis and its links to blood pressure levels.

Inflammation and Bruises: The leaves of hyssop are said to act as a pain-relieving agent, and can cure swellings, bruises and insect bites
