Lady Bugs come up to our edge of the forest

Every Fall Lady Bugs come up to our edge of the forest to hibernate. They bunch them selves together on branches, leaves and sides of trees looking like a moving blanket.

Now the weather temperature is right and they are bursting up out of our ravine, seems like in the Millions! Awake from their long sleep, and ravenous, biting at any microscopic thing in the air, and making their way back down the mountains and into the meadows and valleys, in search for aphids.

It’s an incredible sight to see the whole air filled with red dots. I took pics but all are just a blur. But if you look closely, at these pictures you can make some of them out. What I need for this shot is a high speed camera, cause this doesn’t show the mere magnitude of it all.
